I’m amazed at the speed at which we forget about thanksgiving. One moment we are expressing life fully through cherishing time spent with those closest to us. (Think about that. What more is there to want?) The next moment we are waking before dawn to acquire more than our neighbor. “If it comes down to me or you, then screw you. Even if it’s about a 75 percent off electronic doodad.”
One day of thanks is followed by a season of getting.Where does that leave our culture?
