We tend to think that the world is out to get us. The average person in their job thinks that they have it worse off than most others. Why is that? It's because we are not paying attention to our perception.
When we own our perception we alter reality in our favor: we don't have it harder than the next guy, the world is working for us (not against us), and success is not a zero-sum game.
It just takes a bit of deliberation on our part.
