It's easy to take a break when creating something solo. It's extremely difficult to hold ourselves to the fire.
The only problem is, one day off becomes 2 days, or a week, or a month. Then, the thing we were creating becomes a dusty half-done pile amidst other half-done piles. None of which became their full potential.
How many unfinished projects do you have? What does that tell us? How close were we to something truly excellent?
When novelty rules the current age, it's time to be the one to show up, again and again, so much so that when we miss a beat, someone says "Where'd that one guy go?"
Return. Refocus. Hang on.
