When we think about success we tend to overlook the amount of sheer effort that it takes.  We then compensate with giving maximum effort and "gassing out" fast.  The thing is, it's not enough to wait for the right time, or to feel like it, or to do 4 hours of work once a month.  It takes a constant effort, even if the effort is small.  (think "jab" or "drip")

Consistency beats effort every time.  It's when we are consistent with small efforts that we create opportunities to use the haymaker.

The trick to using a haymaker is knowing when to use it.
